First nighters included Donzaleigh Abernathy, James Avery, Ferras Alqaisi, Alison Arngrim, Romi Dames, Mikalah Gordon, Ilene Graff, Courtney Hansen, William Katt, Lorenzo Lamas, Kate Linder, Rita McKenzie, Syesha Mercado, Julie Newmar, Freda Payne, Sarah Smart, Judy Tenuta, Dee Wallace, Lisa Ann Walter, and Rachel York.

Conceived and choreographed by Dancing With The Stars‘ Louis van Amstel, the show features dance finalists from that show including Edyta Sliwinska, Alec Mazo, Jonathan Roberts, and Anna Trebunskaya; dance pros from So You Think You Can Dance including Randi Lynn Evans, Ade Obayomi, and Johnathan Platero; and American Idol finalists David Hernandez and Gina Glocksen. The opening night performance was co-hosted by Van Amstel and Niecy Nash.
