Jason Butler Harner, Jason O’Mara, et al. Set for Donmar Warehouse’s Serenading Louie

Obie Award winner Jason Butler Harner and stage and television star Jason O’Mara will co-star with Charlotte Emmerson and Geraldine Sommervile in the Donmar Warehouse’s production of Lanford Wilson’s Serenading Louie, which will run February 11-March 27. The production will also have a three-week UK tour following the London run.

The production will be directed by Simon Curtis, with designs by Peter McKintosh, lighting by Guy Hoare, and music composition and sound design by Adam Cork.

The work centers on two college friends, Carl and Alex, who are struggling to deal with the harsh realities of adulthood as they enter their thirties. Wilson’s many plays include Fifth of July, Balm in Gilead, Burn This, and The Hot’L Baltimore.

Harner received an Obie for Hedda Gabler, and his other stage credits include The Coast of Utopia, The Paris Letter, Our Town, The Gingerbread House, The Invention of Love, and Orange Flower Water. O’Mara is best known for his work on the TV series Life on Mars and Grey’s Anatomy.
