Teneisha Bonner, Tommy Franzen, Lizzie Gough Set for Some Like It Hip Hop at Sadler’s Wells

Teneisha Bonner, Tommy Franzen and Lizzie Gough will appear in ZooNation’s premiere of Some Like It Hip Hop at Sadler’s Wells‘ Peacock Theatre next spring, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. Kate Prince will direct and choreograph the piece, which she has also conceived.

The show, which features music and lyrics by DJ Walde and Josh Cohen, as well as Prince, focuses on two women trying to make it in a man’s world, and is loosely inspired by the Billy Wilder classic Some Like It Hot. Performer Franzen, along with Ryan Chappell, Carrie-Anne Ingrouille and Duwane Taylor, will provide additional choreography.

Bonner previously appeared in the company’s Into the Hoods and can be seen in the Streetdance 3D film. Both Franzen and Gough were finalists on the television series So You Think You Can Dance.
