Spring Awakening‘s Lauren Pritchard’s Debut CD, Wasted in Jackson, Set for October 26 Release

Lauren Pritchard’s debut album Wasted in Jackson will be released by Universal Republic on October 26. Eg White has produced the recording.

The 11-track disc will feature music that recalls the performer’s Southern upbringing, including “Not the Drinking” and the title track. Other songs on the disc include “When The Night Kills The Day,” co-written with Ed Harcourt and “Stuck, which features The Roots’ ?uestLove on drums.

Pritchard appeared in the original Broadway cast of the musical Spring Awakening.
