Tony Award winners Jason Robert Brown and Anika Noni Rose will offer two concert performances at the West End’s Garrick Theatre, September 24-25 at 8pm.
The events will feature new, previously unheard material by Brown as well as songs from his musicals Songs for a New World, Parade, The Last 5 Years and 13. The performers will be joined by Brown’s band The Caucasian Rhythm Kings and a four-strong French horn section.
Rose won the Tony for Caroline, or Change, and last appeared on Broadway in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. She starred in the films Dreamgirls and The Princess and the Frog, and will guest star this season on the CBS series The Good Wife.
