Sean Campion, Andrew Frame, Edward Franklin, et al. Set for Gate Theatre’s Wittenberg

Casting has been announced casting for David Davalos’ Wittenberg, to run August 24-October 1 at The Gate Theatre. Christopher Haydon will direct the production.

The comedy is set at Wittenberg University in the early sixteenth century and focuses on professors Doctor Faustus and Reverend Martin Luther who are both attempting to gain the allegiance of their star pupil Prince Hamlet.

The company will feature Sophie Brittain (Eternal Feminine), Sean Campion (Faustus), Edward Franklin (Hamlet), and Andrew Frame (Martin Luther).
