Lee Boardman, Lisa Eichhorn, Mark Warren, et al. Set for West End’s Cool Hand Luke

Complete casting has been announced for Emma Reeves’ stage version of the movie Cool Hand Luke, which will begin performances on September 23 at the West End’s Aldwych Theatre, in anticipation of an official opening on October 3. Andrew Loudon will direct the production, which will be designed by Edward Lipscomb and have lighting design by Matthew Eagland.

The story centers on Luke Jackson, an incarcerated World War II vet who refuses to conform to life in a rural prison.

The company will feature as previously announced, Marc Warren in the title role, along with Lee Boardman (Dragline), Rob Falconer (Bull Bill), Joshua McCord (Rabbit) , Nathan Osgood (Carr), Tom Silburn (Curly), David Sturzaker (Society Red), Richard Brake (Boss Godfrey), Kenneth Jay (Boss Kean), and Lisa Eichhorn (Mrs Jackson), as well as Sandra Marvin, Tania Mathurin, Bret Jones, Michael Cuckson and Julie Rogers.
