In addition, the series will include After the Spring (August 11-12), a selection of short plays from the Arab World, specially commissioned by the Royal Court, written by Mohammad Al Attar, Laila Soliman and Arzé Khodr.

In related news, the Royal Court has announced that Anders Lustgarten has won the inaugural Harold Pinter Playwright’s Award for his play A Day at the Racists. The award was presented to Lustgarten in a ceremony held on June 22.
