Punchdrunk Adds Adult "After Dark" Performances for Doctor Who-Themed The Crash of the Elysium

Punchdrunk has added “After Dark” adult performances to its new show, The Crash of the Elysium, according to a report on Whatsonstatge.com. As previously announced, the piece, based on the television series Doctor Who and premiering at the Manchester International Festival, had only been open to children 6-12 and their guardians. The additional performances will be offered July 5-17, between 8 & 9pm.

The production, created by Felix Barrett and Tom MacRae and based on an original idea by series head writer Steven Moffat, centers around the wreck of the steamship and an exploration inside the remains. The show is aimed at children between the ages of six and twelve and will allow the young theatergoers to become part of the live adventure.
