The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will honor Vanessa Redgrave for her five decades in film, according to The Associated Press. A ceremony will be held for her on Sunday, November 13, in London where she is currently starring opposite James Earl Jones in Driving Miss Daisy, at the Wyndham's Theatre.

Redgrave won a Tony Award for her performance in the 2003 revival of Long Day's Journey Into Night, and was Tony-nominated for her work in The Year of Magical Thinking in 2007. Among her other New York stage credits are Driving Miss Daisy, Orpheus Descending and The Lady From the Sea on Broadway, as well as Antony and Cleopatra, Hecuba, and Vita and Virginia. Redgrave has been Oscar-nominated six times, and won for her supporting role in Julia.
