Spice Girl Mel C (full name Melanie Chisholm) will make her theatrical debut next month when she takes over the role of Mrs. Johnstone in the long-running musical Blood Brothers at the Phoenix Theatre on October 26.

The show, which is directed by Bob Thomson and Bill Kenwright, tells the story of twin boys separated at birth, only to be re-united by a twist of fate and a mother's haunting secret. The current cast includes twin brothers Ben and Michael Sewell as Mickey and Eddie.
