The singer will be backed by a 25-piece orchestra, performing musical theater and pop songs from her repertoire, as well as new material.

Following her run at the Apollo, Menzel will Edinburgh's Usher Hall (October 16) and Manchester's Palace Theatre (October 17).

Menzel received the Tony Award for Wicked, and her stage credits include Rent, The Wild Party, See What I Wanna See, and Aida.

Her film and television credits include Glee and Enchanted. Her newest album and subsequent concert DVD Idina Menzel LIVE: Barefoot at the Symphony were recently released.
