Trudie Styler will once again appear alongside co-stars Russell Barr and Ian Redford in Out of Joint’s A Dish of Tea with Dr Johnson, when the production transfers to the Arts Theatre for a limited run, September 1- 24, according to Whatsonstage.com.

The work, which has been adapted from James Boswell’s The Life of Samuel Johnson and The Journal of a Tour to the Hebrides, is directed by Max Stafford-Clark. It was previously seen, with the same cast, at the Customs House in South Shields on Tyneside, and will also play an engagement at the Traverse Theatre, August 23-28, as part of this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.

The production is designed by Tim Shortall, with lighting by Christopher Nairne and costumes by Karen Large.

Styler has appeared opposite her husband, Sting, in Twin Spirits and her television acting credits include Midsomer Murders, Love Soup, and Friends. The actress will perform at all Edinburgh performances and most dates in London except for September 9 to 11, and 21 to 24.
