Daniel Boys will play the title role, alongside Ben Richards’ Captain Hook and Les Dennis’ Smee, in a new musical version of Peter Pan, which will play The Grand Canal Theatre in Dublin, running July 15 – August 8, before a run at The Southampton Mayflower Theatre, December 9 – January 14. David Morgan will direct the production, which will have choreography by Helen Rymer.

With music by Robert Scott and book and lyrics by Roger Moss, the show is a new take on J.M. Barrie’s classic play about the boy who refused to grow up.

Boys, perhaps best known for competing on the U.K. reality series Any Dream Will Do, has appeared in such musicals as I Love You Because Wolfboy, and Avenue Q. Dennis’ West End credits include Chicago and Me and My Girl and he has appeared in U.K. tours of High School Musical and Hairspray. Richards was most recently seen in Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical in the West End. Among his other credits are Guys and Dolls, Grease, Full Monty, and Saturday Night Fever.
