Ann Hampton Callaway Set for The Lady Is a Song Concert in Oneonta

Tony Award nominee Ann Hampton Callaway will join the New York Summer Music Festival Pops Orchestra for The Lady Is a Song, to be offered on Wednesday, August 4 at the SUNY Oneonta College's Goodrich Theater.

New York Pops conductor Steven Reineke will conduct the performance, which will be offered free-of-charge and is part of the New York Summer Music Festival's 2010 season. The event will also feature narration by Keisuke Hoashi.

The concert will feature such numbers as Rodgers and Hart's "The Lady is a Tramp," Johnny Mandel's "Emily," Henry Mancini's "Charade," Cole Porter's "From this Moment On," Sigmund Romberg and Oscar Hammerstein II's "Lover, Come Back to Me," and Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer's "Blues in the Night"

Callaway received a Tony Award nomination for Swing!. She is a popular recording artist, concert performer, and songwriter, and will soon be touring the country with her sister, Liz Callaway, in their critically acclaimed show BOOM!
