Bomb-itty of Errors, Taming of the Shrew, and More Set for Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival

The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival’s 2010 has announced its 2010 season, with three productions to run in repertory, June 15 – September 5. The Festival makes its home under an open-air tent theater perched high up on the banks of the Hudson River on the grounds of the historic 19th Century Boscobel estate in Garrison, New York.

Christopher Edwards will direct The Bomb-itty of Errors, a hop hop take on Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors from Jordan Allen-Dutton, Jason Catalano, Gretogy Qaiyum, and Erik Weiner. Shakespeare’s comic battle of the sexes, The Taming of the Shrew, will be directed by Kurt Rhoads Terrence O’Brien, Founding Artistic Director of the Festival, will direct Troilus and Cressida, Shakespeare’s dark comedy set during the Trojan War.
