Cast, Creative Team Set for Mosco’s A Brush With Georgia O’Keeffe

Casting and creative team information has been announced for Natalie Mosco’s A Brush With Georgia O’Keeffe, November 1, set for the Smithsonian American Art Museum with direction by Robert Kalfin.

This production will be presented in conjunction with the Smithsonian’s exhibition, Georgia O’Keeffe and Ansel Adams: Natural Affinities. The play follows the life of Georgia O’Keeffe, who was once torn between a career as an artist or musician. Mosco will star as O’Keeffe, and the cast will also include Virginia Roncetti and David Lloyd Walters in multiple roles.

The creative team will include Gail Cooper Hecht (costume design), Marilys Ernst (projections design), Paul Hudson (lighting design), Kevin Judge (scenic design), and Margaret Pine (original composition/sound design).

Mosco’s Broadway credits include The Magic Show and HAIR, and her other credits include Follies, Grand Hotel, and Antony and Cleopatra. Her own visual artwork has been exhibited at MOMA and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
