Shakespeare Theatre Company to Host September 11 Fall Arts Preview

Shakespeare Theatre Company will host a portion of a Fall Arts Preview, showcasing a variety of artistic offerings in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, September 11, from 11am to 7pm.

Performances that will take place in the company’s Sidney Harman Hall include presentations from the Shakespeare Theatre Company, Ford’s Theater Signature Theatre and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, Congressional Chorus, CityDance Ensemble, The Washington Ballet, Studio Theatre, Tehreema Mitha Dance Company, Jane Franklin Dance, Music Aperta, Washington Performing Arts Society’s Men, Women and Children of the Gospel Choir (WPAS), Arena Stage, Flamenco Aparicio, Synetic Theater, and The Rock Creek Singers of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC.


In The Forum space, groups such as Eureka Dance Festival, Gypsy Strings, Washington Improv Theatre, No Rules Theatre Company, Furia Flamenca, Silk Road Dance Company®, Eureka Dance Festival, Ballet Teatro International, Jayamangala Indian Dance, Young Playwrights’ Theater, and Sharna Fabiano Tango Company will present previews of their fall offerings.

Tickets are free and provide general admission for specific performances in each venue. Tickets will be distributed in the lobby one hour before each performance, starting at 10am on September 11. One ticket does not guarantee entry to all performances; an individual ticket must be obtained for each hour’s performance.
