Shakespeare Theatre to Offer Free Open Reheasarl of Mrs. Warren’s Profession Starring Elizabeth Ashley

The Shakespeare Theatre Company will offer a free open rehearsal for its production of George Bernard Shaw’s Mrs. Warren’s Profession on May 30. Keith Baxter is directing the production, which will run June 8 – July 11.

As previously announced, Tony Award winner Elizabeth Ashley will star in the title role, alongside Amanda Quaid as Vivie Warren, Ted Van Griethuysen as Mr. Praed, Andrew Boyer as Sir George Crofts, Kenneth Cavett as Cockney Bruiser, Tony Roach as Frank Gardner, David Sabin as Rev. S Gardner, and Caitlin Diana Doyle as Young Kitty Vavasour.

The creative team will include Simon Higlett (set), Robert Perdziola (costumes), Kim D. Sherman (musical direction), Martin Desjardins (sound), and Peter West (choreography).

Seating for the rehearsal will be at 2pm and admission is on a first-come, first-served basis, no reservations required.
