Faye Butler, Parrish Collier, John Steven Crowley, Lina Kernan, and Alexis Rogers will star in the Goodman Theatre's production of Ain't Misbehavin', to run June 21-July 27 in the Albert Theater. The production, which will open officially on June 30, will be directed by Chuck Smith, with choreography by Lisa Willingham-Johnson.
The revue, based on an idea by Murray Horowitz and Richard Maltby Jr., with music by Fats Waller, features such beloved songs as "Honeysuckle Rose," "The Joint is Jumpin'," "Keepin' Out of Mischief Now," and "Mean to Me." The original 1978 Broadway production won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
The creative team includes Linda Buchanan (sets), Birgit Rattenbog Wise (costumes), Robert Christen (lighting), Josh Horvath and Ray Nardelli (sound), and Malcolm Ruhl (music direction).
