Denis O’Hare, B.D. Wong to Perform Selected Shorts at Long Wharf Theatre

Tony Award winners Denis O’Hare and B.D. Wong will participate in a live performance of Selected Shorts on Monday, November 15. Isaiah Sheffer will host.

The evening will feature tales about identity, race, guilt and understanding American writers Sherman Alexie, Percival Everett, and O. Henry winner John Biguenet. This event was programmed in conjunction with the theater’s production of The Train Driver, by Athol Fugard, running October 27-November 21 on the Mainstage.

Wong won Tony and Drama Desk awards for his work in M. Butterfly, with additional Broadway credits including You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Pacific Overtures. O’Hare won Tony and Drama Desk awards for his work in Take Me Out and a Drama Desk Award for Sweet Charity, and will return to Broadway in Elling later this season.

There will be an additional performance of Selected Shorts at Long Wharf on March 14, 2011.
