Dear Elizabeth chronicles the 30-year friendship between celebrated 20th-century American poets Elizabeth Bishop (Fisher) and Robert Lowell (Mays).

Ruhl's plays include The Clean House, eurydice, In The Next Room (or the Vibrator Play), Dead Man's Cell Phone.

The production features scenic design by Adam Rigg, costumes by Maria Hooper, lighting by Russell Champa, sound by Bray Poor, and projections by Hannah Wasileski.
