Full cast and creative team information has been announced for Apple Tree Theatre's production of the Andrew Lippa-Tom Greenwald musical, John & Jen, to run December 10-January 4, with an opening set for December 13. Rachel Rockwell will direct.
The two-hander is set against the backdrop of a changing America between 1950 and 1990, and looks at the relationships between Jen and the two Johns of her life: her brother and, later, her son.
The cast will star McKinley Carter as Jen and Jon Cunningham as John. The creative team will include Valerie Maze (musical director), Alan Schwanke (scenic design), Elizabeth Flauto (costumes), Brandon Wardell (lighting), Bradford Chapin (sound), and Christopher Ash (projections).
