Sister Act to Play Chicago, Starring Ta’Rea Campell, Hollis Resnik

Broadway In Chicago will present the North American Tour of Sister Act, November 12-December 2 at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University.

Featuring an original score by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater, and a book by Cheri and Bill Steinkellner with additional material by Douglas Carter Beane, Sister Act is the story of disco diva Deloris Van Cartier who witnesses a murder and is put in protective custody in the one place cops are sure she won’t be found – a convent.

As previously announced, the tour’s cast will be led by Ta’Rea Campbell as Deloris Van Cartier, Hollis Resnik as Mother Superior, and Kingsley Leggs as Curtis Jackson. The cast will also feature E. Clayton Cornelious (Eddie Souther), Lael Van Keuren (Mary Robert), Florrie Bagel (Mary Patrick), Diane J. Findlay (Mary Lazarus), Todd A. Horman (Joey), Ernie Pruneda (Pablo), Charles Barksdale (TJ), and Richard Pruitt (Monsignor O’Hara) as well as Melvin Abston, Brian Calì, Alysha Deslorieux, Karen Elliott, Danny George, Blair Goldberg, Erin Henry, Wendy James, Trisha Jeffrey, Mary Jo McConnell, Ashley Moniz, Michelle Rombola, Jason Simon, Angie Marie Smith, Tricia Tanguy, Kelly E. Waters, and Dashaun Young.
