The Book of Mormon Extends Chicago Run at Bank of America Theatre

By Bethany Rickwald • Aug 22, 2012 • Chicago
Broadway In Chicago has announced that the Bank of America Theatre's previously reported run of The Book of Mormon has been extended through June 2, 2013. The show was originally scheduled to close on March 3.

The Book of Mormon follows a pair of mismatched Mormon boys sent on a mission to a place that's about as far from Salt Lake City as you can get. It has a book, music, and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, and Matt Stone.

The production is choreographed by Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw and is directed by Nicholaw and Parker, with musical direction by Stephen Oremus and orchestrations by Larry Hochman and Stephen Oremus. The design team includes Scott Pask (set design), Ann Roth (costume design), Brian MacDevitt (lighting design), and Brian Ronan (sound design).
