André De Shields’ Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory Part of Theatre Workshop of Nantucket’s 2010 Season

André De Shields will present two performances of his new solo show Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory: from Douglass to Deliverance at the Nantucket Historical Association Whaling Museum on July 12 at 6pm and on July 13 at 6:30pm. The performances are part of the Theatre Workshop of Nantucket’s 2010 season.

Also on the theater’s schedule are William Finn and Rachel Sheinkin’s The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (July 7-31), David Harrower’s Blackbird (July 14-31), Ira Levin’s Veronica’s Room (August 11-28), A.R. Gurney’s A Cheever Evening (September 8-25) and the revue I Love a Piano (October 1-9). In addition, the theater will present a special holiday production of the musical Peter Pan (November 19-December 5).
