The first preview of Eugene O'Neill's The Iceman Cometh, originally scheduled for this evening, has been postponed to March 23, because of inclement weather that prevented set pieces from reaching the Bernard Jacobs Theatre on time. Ticket holders for tonight's canceled performance can exchange or receive refunds at their point of purchase.

Directed by George C. Wolfe, the revival stars Denzel Washington as Theodore Hickman, Colm Meaney as Harry Hope, David Morse as Larry Slade, Bill Irwin as Ed Mosher, Tammy Blanchard as Cora, Carolyn Braver as Pearl, Austin Butler as Don Parrit, Joe Forbrich as Lieb, Nina Grollman as Margie, Thomas Michael Hammond as Moran, Neal Huff as Willie Oban, Danny Mastrogiorgio as Chuck Morello, Dakin Matthews as Piet Wetjoen, Jack McGee as Pat McGloin, Clark Middleton as Hugo Kalmar, Michael Potts as Joe Mott, Reg Rogers as James Cameron, and Frank Wood as Cecil Lewis.

The play is set at Harry Hope's saloon, where drunks and dreamers are celebrating the arrival of Hickey (Washington), whose presence always ensures a good time. When Hickey finally arrives with a new outlook on life, his attempts to help his old friends lead to a devastating series of events.

Opening night is set for April 26.
