Leslie Uggams to Bring Uptown/Downtown to Reagle Music Theatre

Tony Award winner Leslie Uggams will bring her new show, Uptown/Downtown, to the Reagle Music Theatre in Waltham, Massachusetts on October 16 and 17 at 2pm.

In the show — which played New York’s Cafe Carlyle earlier this year and will be seen this fall at Los Angeles’ Pasadena Playhouse — Uggams will offer songs from her legendary career and the Great American Songbook, including “My Own Morning,” “Summertime,” “If He Walked Into My Life” and “Stormy Weather,” among others, along with anecdotes about her life.

Uggams won the Tony Award for her performance in Hallelujah, Baby! and has also been seen on Broadway in Anything Goes, Blues in the Night, and On Golden Pond. She is also an Emmy-winning actress and popular recording artist.
