Patrick Gabridge, Melinda Lopez Plays Part of Huntington’s Summer Workshop Readings

The Huntington Theatre Company has announced the line-up of its inaugural Summer Workshop, a two-week program for members of the company’s Playwriting Fellows program that will culminate in public readings of four plays in development.

The playwrights and readings include John Oluwole ADEkoje’s Jagun Fly (July 22 at 5pm); Patrick Gabridge’s Flight (July 21 at 5pm); Martha Jane Kaufman’s Untitled Play about Dead Bodies (July 22 at 3pm); and Melinda Lopez’s Becoming Cuba (July 21 at 7:30pm). The works will be directed by Niegel Smith, Jessica Bauman, Kara-Lynn Vaeni, and M. Bevin O’Gara, respectively.

The readings are free and open to the public.
