Franz, Sternhagen, et al. Set for Free Reading of Against the Rising Sea

Tony Award winners Elizabeth Franz and Frances Sternhagen will headline a free reading of Kelly Masterson’s Against the Rising Sea, to be presented by the Berkshire Theatre Lab at 8pm on Friday, August 27 at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington. The reading will be directed by Joe Cacaci and co-star Ylfa Edelstein and Andrea Cirie.

The piece focuses on a long-time couple’s struggle with their uncertain future and a troubled past, whose path collides with a younger version of themselves. Masterton is best known as the screenwriter of Before The Devil Knows You’re Dead.
