Vicki Noon to Play Elphaba in Second North American Tour of Wicked

,Vicki Noon will play Elphaba in the second North American tour of Wicked, beginning with the April 6 performance in Toledo, Ohio.

The actress has previously played the role in the San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Chicago companies of the award-winning musical. Among her other credits is the North American tour of Mamma Mia!, in which she played Sophie.

Noon is joining a company which also features Natalie Daradich (Glinda), Marilyn Caskey (Madame Morrible), Don Amendolia (The Wizard), David de Vries (Dr. Dillamond), Zach Hanna (Boq), Chris Peluso (Fiyero), Kristine Reese (Nessarose) and Anne Brummel (Standby for Elphaba), as well as Meredith Akins, Alicia L. Albright, Kerry Blanchard, Michael Drolet, Jeremy Duvall, Christine Dwyer, Peter C. Ermides, Ryan Patrick Farrell, KC Fredericks, Jenn Furman, Jacqui Graziano, Charles Hagerty, Todd Hanebrink, Ryan Jackson, Lauren Linville, Michelle London, Lesley McKinnell, Casey Quinn, Don Richard, Daniel Torres, Erin Wilson, Justin Wirick, Lindsay Wood, and Kevin Samual Yee.

Based on Gregory Maguire’s novel of the same name, Wicked features a score by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman. The production is directed by Joe Mantello, with musical staging by Wayne Cilento.
