The Seven Year Itch

Jackie Tasker directs George Axelrod’s The Seven Year Itch. Like many Manhattan husbands, Richard Sherman sends his wife and child to the country for the summer while he stays behind to toil. Though revelling in the temporary freedom of his newfound bachelor lifestyle, he is resolved not to carouse and philander like some others. However, his overactive, over-vivid imagination goes into overdrive when a delightfully unconventional girl moves in upstairs.
