About the Show
Inspired by urban legends and the “penny dreadfuls” of Victorian England, a vengeful Sweeney Todd has just been released from jail for a crime he did not commit. With his demented accomplice, Mrs. Lovett, the “demon barber of Fleet Street” cooks up a macabre revenge scheme in this thriller. Sweeney Todd features music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
