Hairspray

Based on John Waters’ 1988 film of the same name, Hairspray stars Harvey Fierstein as Edna Turnblad and newcomer Marissa Jaret Winokur as her daughter Tracy. The year is 1962 and Tracy, a girl with big dreams and even bigger hair, will do whatever it takes to dance her way on to TV’s most popular show.

There are Sunday evening performances at 7:30 on June 9 and 16. There is no performance on Thursday, June 20.

After this Seattle engagement, the show moves to Broadway for an August 15 opening.
