New York City
The legendary Orson Welles and the Mercury Theater on the Air debuted with Dracula – Bram Stoker’s original tale of vampires and children of the night. Now, the Willamette Radio Workshop brings to life (so to speak) the original script with period live sound effects and music. The Workshop has been awarded a half dozen national awards for their audio dramas, including OGLE Awards for the past two Halloween shows at the Kennedy School. Dracula offers a unique look into the drama of the past, offering a glimpse of the Golden Age of Radio and sparking the imaginations of young and old alike.
Free Trick-or-Treating is available at the Kennedy School from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, with performances of Dracula scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM. All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied by adults.
