Village Theatre’s Issaquah KIDSTAGE Company debuts a completely original murder mystery musical, A Perfect Fall, written and performed by the 2007 KIDSTAGE Company, which is comprised of 16 students in ninth through 12th grades.
Teens in a small Midwestern town are thrown into turmoil when a tragedy claims the life of one of their own — but was it an accident, or was it murder? As some search for the truth, and some try to keep it hidden, long-standing secrets are brought to light, relationships are changed forever, and the true nature of a town is revealed. In the spirit of Veronica Mars and Friday Night Lights, A Perfect Fall offers a vivid portrait of a small town, and a twisting, turning tale of intrigue, insight, and stunning surprise.
The show is directed by David Bennett, with co-direction and choreography by Kathryn Van Meter, musical direction by Tim Symons and songs by Brian Yorkey and Tim Symons.
The writing team includes: Lauren Colyer, Michael Matlock, Cameron Morris, Hiroki Murakami, Trevor Smith, Justine Stillwell, Nick Thull, and Alyssa Wiblitzhouser.
