About This Show

Moscow presents a play within a play, as three trapped male characters are left to perpetually rehearse from a found copy of Chekhov’s The Three Sisters. Like the young women of Chekhov’s play, the men seek to escape their personal confinement and to answer the existential questions that face them. Who are they? Where are they? Why are they there? Each male character draws from the sister role he is rehearsing. As each grows to understand the character he portrays, so too the audience comes to further understand the men and the journey they are on.
