Godspell

CCTA Professional Teen Theatre, part of the Conservatory program of Columbia Center for Theatrical Arts (CCTA), presents Godspell, the musical based on the book of St. Matthew. From the opening at the Tower of Babel, through the baptism and right up through the bows, the show provides a romp through the parables. It is not just a fun time, though; there are a few lessons in there as well. Music and lyrics are by Stephen Schwartz, with a book by John-Michael Tebelak. Songs include “Day By Day,” “Bless the Lord” and “Turn Back, O Man.” The production is co-directed by Rob McQuay and Beth Leader.
