Dix Tableaux

The New Jersey Repertory Company presents Dix Tableaux by Mark Dunn as part of the Script-In-Hand New Play Series. Dix Tableaux tells the story of the growing friendship between two older women over the course of ten years, as each come together annually to participate in a town museum fundraiser. As Beverly and Addie stand like human statues in a variety of dioramic displays of moments from the history of the town of Dix, they open their hearts to one another, sharing the pain of lives unfulfilled but also lives sustained and nurtured by the joy and hope that come from the annual renewal of the ties of their friendship.
