Una reina y sus dos hijas, obligadas a viajar con la Armada Invencible para aceptar matrimonios de conveniencia, provocan una tempestad y naufragan en una isla que creen desierta. Allí descubren a un leñador y sus dos hijos, hombres que también huyeron del amor y de las mujeres. Entre disfraces, malentendidos y pasiones inesperadas, la obra celebra la fuerza del deseo, la libertad y la posibilidad de sanar viejas heridas a través de la ternura, el humor y el encuentro humano.
A witty romantic comedy filled with mistaken identities, magic, and Shakespearean echoes, this story begins with characters determined to escape love—only to find themselves transformed by it. A queen and her two daughters, forced to sail with the Spanish Armada toward arranged marriages in England, conjure a storm and shipwreck themselves on what they believe is a deserted island. Instead, they find a woodcutter and his two sons, men who have also fled love and women. Through disguises, confusion, and unexpected desire, the play explores freedom, fear, and the healing power of tenderness, inviting audiences to open their hearts again.
