Local favorite and Broadway veteran Chris Coucill plays the title role in the PAC’s first Shakespeare production. When a generous patron loses his fortune, the selfish wiles of his friends drive him into a misanthropic spiral of revenge. An uncomfortably timely depiction of personal struggle amidst financial meltdown, Timon of Athens promises uncompromising beauty and some of the Bard’s most muscular and rewarding verse.
