A guy. A girl. A deli counter in the big city. In a culture where individuals thrive on selling themselves as images to an environment where day to day interaction with people passed on the street is limited for the sake of personal space and safety, can two strangers not only meet but connect on a personal level? Now Serving traces the ‘beginnings of a beautiful friendship,’ as the separate spheres of two strangers slowly touch and overlap in a backdrop of deli meats, first impressions, and small discoveries.
