This is the classic musical about the ultimate sports fan. Based on Douglass Wallop’s novel The Year the Yankees Lost the Pennant, Damn Yankees tells how Joe Boyd sells his soul to the Devil to help his favorite baseball team win. The score, with music and lyrics by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross, contains well-known favorites such as “Whatever Lola Wants” and “Heart.” The production is directed and choreographed by Playhouse Artistic Director, Stephen Casey.
