About This Show

In 1872, on the very same day the Bank of England was robbed, Mr. Phileas Fogg, a mysteriously wealthy English gentleman, enters into a wager with his companions at the reform club. “I shall bet twenty thousand pounds against anyone who wishes that I will make a tour of this world in eighty days or less. A true Englishman never jokes when he is talking about so serious a thing as a wager!”

Fogg, mistaken for the thief who robbed the Bank of England, and his faithful manservant leave London in the dead of the night to begin their journey but are pursued by the sly and determined Detective Fix. On boats, trains and elephants, through the Mystical east and the Darkest Jungles to the Wild West they race to meet their deadline and escape capture.
