Hedwig and the Angry Inch

This glam musical by John Cameron Mitchell, with music and lyrics by Stephen Trask opened to rave reviews in New York City in 1998 and played to packed houses until the end of its 2-year-run. The story centers on Hedwig, a rock and roll singing German transsexual and her dreams, disappointments, and search for love.
