Das Barbecü

V F Corporation presents Triad Stage’s production of Das Barbecü, a rompin’ stompin’ musical comedy featuring book and lyrics by Jim Luigs, and music by Scott Warrender. There’s a magic ring of gold in Texas that’s been causin’ trouble for way too long and all heck’s a fixin’ to break loose in this Wild West fable of love versus greed. Everything’s coming to a crisis as two sets of mismatched lovers meet on the day of their shotgun weddings. Three generations of feuding families, a synchronized swimming revue, lariat spinning ladies, evil narcoleptic dwarves, and the aforementioned ring, collide in this side splitting Off-Broadway musical hit, with five actors playing over thirty different roles.
