These are the names in writer Del Shores’s world. “I didn’t make up a single one of them either,” brags Shores. “I stole them.” The Texas native has put the names to good use in plays and films like Southern Baptist Sissies, Daddy’s Dyin’ … Who’s Got the Will? and the deep-fried cult comedy Sordid Lives. Sordid Lives–The Miniseries will soon appear on HBO.
