About the Show
The final chapter of Neil Simon’s acclaimed autobiographical trilogy, Broadway Bound picks up where Biloxi Blues left off. Eugene has returned from the army and tries, with his brother Stanley, to break into the world of professional comedy writing. When their material is broadcast on the radio for the first time, the family is upset to hear a comedy rendition of their trials and tribulations. This warm, perceptive, and touching play contains some of the author’s most accomplished writing.
There are additional performances on Wednesday, September 15 at 2pm, Sunday, Sept 19 & 26 at 7pm, and Thursday, Sept 30 at 8pm.
