Bridge to Terabithia

Theatre of Youth presents Bridge to Terabithia, by Katherine Paterson and Stephanie S. Tolan, adapted from the Newbery Award-winning book by Katherine Paterson. Eileen Duggan directs.

Eleven-year-old Jesse changes forever when he befriends the class outsider – who happens to be a girl. Together, their imagination brings to life a magical kingdom hidden deep within a secret forest, where they will rule as King and Queen. While they escape from unkind classmates and difficult families, the understanding they find inspires a true friendship that will last forever. Suddenly, Jesse must use all of his confidence and strength to cope with the loss of the one who inspired him most.
