VON USSAR danceworks

Choreographer Astrid von Ussar’s provocative, energetic, and emotional style has propelled her to one of New York’s most exciting up-and-coming choreographers. Utilizing a wide range of styles and forms, hers is a dance with a wholly unique and dynamic movement style. Her own company VON USSAR danceworks held its successful debut in 2002 at the Joyce SoHo with three sold-out performances and enthusiastic critical response.
